About The Position

The Production Associate I - Thinset position involves operating mixing and packaging equipment safely and productively. The role requires understanding production standards, performing quality inspections, inputting data for production reporting, and adjusting HMI for bagging machines. Responsibilities include making product changeovers, communicating with supervisors on safety, quality, and production issues, and complying with occupational safety regulations. The associate will also maintain good housekeeping, report hazards, maintain chemical hopper levels, troubleshoot equipment, perform minor maintenance, and operate a forklift for material handling. Other duties may be assigned by management.

Requirements

1-3 years of experience as a machine operator in an industrial environment preferred.
Computer Competency
Mechanical Aptitude
Above average Math Skills
Familiar with operation of automated production equipment
Ability to lift 50 lbs. and utilize material handling equipment.
Forklift experience with safe driving record
Team Player works well with others.

Responsibilities

Operate Mixing and Packaging Equipment in a Safe and Productive Manner
Understand production standards and perform quality inspection of product as required.
Input Data for production reporting.
Adjust HMI for the bagging machines.
Make product changeovers as needed, including bag film, chemicals, pallets and slip sheets.
Communicate with Supervisor on Safety, Quality, and Production issues.
Comply with occupational safety regulations including LO/TO
Use correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Maintain good housekeeping on production floor.
Report any spills or Hazards to Supervisor
Report any safety issues to Supervisor.
Maintain chemical hopper levels.
Trouble shoot equipment to keep operational.
Performs tasks related to machine cleaning and minor preventative maintenance repairs as directed.
Operate a forklift safely storing finished goods and retrieving raw materials.
Other duties as assigned by management.
