Process Technician 1st Shift 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
About The Position
The Process Technician is responsible for the setup of injection molds for production and the monitoring of production as needed to maintain quality and efficiency. This role involves programming robots, performing calibration of color loaders, and ensuring lock-out/tag-out procedures are followed for all molding-related equipment. The technician will set up and process hydraulic and electric molding machines, troubleshoot molding problems, set up end-of-arm tooling, chutes, and conveyor systems, and make authorized changes to maintain quality throughout the molding process. The position requires the use of IQMS (ERP system) for the entire production process, maintaining a safe and clean work environment, and contributing to team efforts. Attendance at training sessions is required to stay current with industry standards, and other related duties or special projects may be assigned.
Requirements
- Experience in setup of injection molds for production.
- Ability to monitor production to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Experience programming robots.

- Knowledge of lock out tag out requirements for molding equipment.
- Experience with setup and processing of hydraulic and electric molding machines.

- Proficiency in utilizing IQMS (ERP system).

Responsibilities
- Completes start up of molding process and provides first article to quality for approval.
- Programs robots and performs calibration of color loaders.
- Responsible for completing lock out tag out requirements for all equipment related to the molding process.
- Responsible for set up and processing of hydraulic and electric molding machines, troubleshooting of molding problems, programming or robots, set up of end of arm tooling, chutes and conveyor systems and authorized to make changes.
- Maintains quality throughout the molding process to meet all standards.
- Utilizes IQMS (ERP system) for entire production process.
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Attend training to stay current with industry as required.
- Perform other related duties or special projects.
- Responsible for food safety, food quality and site safety.
