This role involves operating various CNC controlled machines, such as presses, lasers, and rolling mills in a fast-paced production setting, with an emphasis on safety and quality. The associate will utilize scanning equipment, inspect work visually for defects according to quality standards, and serve as a positive role model consistent with Cornerstone Building Brands Mission, Vision and Core Values. The position also requires providing cost-saving suggestions and ideas to improve production and eliminate waste.

Requirements

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Must have basic Microsoft knowledge
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a related area is preferred
Experience with side forklift, bander, nail gun, overhead crane, saws, stretch wrap machine, and various pneumatic equipment preferred, not required

Responsibilities

Must be willing/able to work overtime
Must be able to read a tape measure, write, and follow posted schedules
Willing to learn and take on additional tasks as assigned
