Production Associate - Pallet Saw Shop
About The Position
The Production Associate, also described as a Saw Shop Operator, sets up and operates power saws to slot, cut, and trim wood for pallet creation. The role supports the pallet manufacturing process and follows applicable safety rules and regulations. The position is located in Biglerville, Pennsylvania, and pays $17.00 per hour. The schedule is first shift: Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Overtime may be needed. The work may involve extreme conditions, including heat, cold, elements, and airborne particulates. Employees repetitively lift up to 50–75 pounds and may need to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for entire shifts. Noise levels vary by location. Required PPE includes eye protection, safety shoes, and ear protection at several locations. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, and color vision. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to regularly lift wooden pallets weighing about 50 pounds.
- Quick hands, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to repetitively lift up to 50–75 pounds and bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for entire shifts.
- Ability to work in conditions that may include heat, cold, outdoor elements, and airborne particulates.

- Use required personal protective equipment, including eye protection, safety shoes, and ear protection at several locations.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, or roofing is highly preferred.
