Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Familiarity with powder coating equipment and processes.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively in a team environment.
Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work in environments with varying temperatures and conditions.
Manual dexterity to operate equipment and handle coated items.
Ability to clean and maintain work areas and equipment.

Nice To Haves

Technical training or certification in powder coating.
Previous experience in powder coating or a related field.

Responsibilities

Apply powder coating to components and products according to company specifications and quality standards.
Prepare items for coating by cleaning, masking, and ensuring surfaces are properly prepared.
Operate powder coating equipment, including spray guns and curing ovens.
Inspect coated items for defects such as uneven coverage or contamination and make adjustments to meet quality standards.
Perform routine maintenance on powder coating equipment to support proper functioning and minimize downtime.
Follow safety procedures and guidelines when handling powder coating materials and operating equipment.
Maintain accurate records of powder coating activities, material usage, and production metrics.
Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Coordinate with team members to support production activities and meet production targets.
Clean and maintain the work area, equipment, and tools to keep the workspace safe and organized.
