About The Position

We are looking for a Production Associate to join our Base Tube Assembly (BTA) team at Bluefors. In this role, you will support the assembly and quality of Cryomech Base Tube Assemblies, contributing to the production of high-quality, precision components. This is an excellent opportunity to develop hands-on technical skills in a manufacturing environment while being part of a collaborative and innovative organization. Your tasks will include assembling Base Tube Assembly components in accordance with documented procedures and specifications to ensure consistency and quality. You will operate and maintain tooling and production equipment safely and effectively while ensuring all work meets established quality standards. You will be responsible for completing and maintaining accurate production and quality documentation, as well as following production schedules to meet operational goals. In addition, you will participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance processes and personal performance, maintain a clean and organized work environment, and adhere to ISO quality system requirements. You may also support team members and perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, procedure manuals, and training documents
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and blueprints
  • Basic math skills, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and working with fractions and decimals
  • Ability to use precise measuring tools and devices
  • Experience using tools such as presses, files, grinders, and sanders
  • Ability to follow production schedules and documented processes
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to document production processes accurately
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Dependability and strong work ethic
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a manufacturing setting
  • Commitment to safety and following established procedures
  • Ability to align with company Leadership Principles and workplace competencies
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
