About The Position

SRI Healthcare, LLC, a subsidiary of NOVO Health Services, provides hospitals with reusable sterile packs and sustainable healthcare linens. The Production Associate works at SRI’s healthcare laundry facility in Mason, Ohio, carrying out linen and sterile-product processing tasks in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and established quality and productivity standards. The role includes inspecting, sorting, folding, distributing, pouching, and labeling products, and maintaining a clean workstation. Associates may recommend process improvements and, after mastering tasks, mentor and train fellow associates.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Detail-oriented.
• Able to learn quickly.
• Able to perform repetitive physical motions at a workstation for a minimum of two hours at a time.
• Willing and capable of working on different assignments within the facility or designated area.
• Good manual dexterity.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Able to read and understand all Standard Operating Procedures.
• Confident in decision-making, able to act quickly, and has excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
• Separate, fold, and properly distribute clean linen.
• Inspect clean linen to ensure quality standards are met.
• Pouch and label sterile product using a heat sealing machine.
• Send finished packs to the Sterilizer Operator for further processing.
• Work within established productivity and quality standards.
• Recommend methods of improvement to facility management.
• Mentor and train fellow associates after mastering tasks.
• Keep the workstation neat and clean.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
