The Production Associate is responsible for the fabrication and production of the component parts for the final assembly of windows. Successful candidates enjoy working in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and repetitive work environment, which includes heavy lifting or working with your hands. This job description is reflective of tasks that will be performed in a variety of departments.

Requirements

  • You may be required to operate various hand tools such as chisel, snips, drill, mallet, or tape measure
  • Read work orders and production schedules to determine product or job instructions and specifications
  • Transfer components, plastic products, and assemblies, using moving equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
  • Must be Adaptable, Reliable, Detail oriented, Energetic & Safety minded
  • Must be able to work on your feet all day in a fast-paced production environment
  • Must be able to speak and read English for safety and training purposes
  • Must be at least 18 years old

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, or tend running machines
  • Operate saws, punches, drills, or drill press machines
  • Set & glaze glass units in frames/sashes
  • Assemble various parts and pieces to complete quality finished windows & or patio doors
  • Applying labels, cleaning finished product & checking for proper operation
