About The Position

Whirlwind Steel is a metal building manufacturer specializing in the design, fabrication, and delivery of metal structures. The Production Associate supports daily manufacturing operations and helps maintain an efficient workflow throughout the facility. Tasks include preparing work areas, supporting equipment setup, assisting on the production line as directed, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and willing to learn.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic understanding of manufacturing or warehouse processes.
Strong mathematical skills.
Physical stamina and ability to lift or move heavy objects.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.
Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
Ability to tolerate working in warehouse conditions.

Nice To Haves

Overhead crane experience.

Responsibilities

Assist with loading and unloading raw materials, components, and finished products.
Help inspect products for visible defects during production.
Maintain a clean and organized production area.
Follow safety procedures and company guidelines.
Report safety concerns or incidents promptly.
Communicate with supervisors and team members to support workflow.
Support continuous improvement efforts and learn new tasks.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
