Production Associate - 2nd Shift
About The Position
Seal & Design, Inc. is a family-owned company founded in Clarence, NY with three divisions located across the U.S. and Canada. Our product line includes gaskets, o-rings, seals, molded products, die-cut foams, and many other specific products for all kinds of sealing applications. We provide superior products to our customers across many industries, including: Automotive, Medical, Military, Aerospace, Electronics, Power Generation, Hydraulics, and HVAC. We are looking for a Production Associate to join our team, on second shift! Monday - Thursday: 2:15p - 12:45a. The role involves fabricating orders according to job specifications with an eye towards process improvement, quality and meeting or exceeding job productivity and efficiency standards.
Requirements
- 1 year of manufacturing experience
- HS Diploma
- Proficiency working in a computer supported environment with business software
- Basic math and language skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Results driven
- Ability to take initiative and challenge the status quo
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a team atmosphere to deliver results
Responsibilities
- Operate machinery safely according to company policies
- Perform secondary inspection and advise supervisor of shortfalls in quality and temporarily suspends sorting until issue is resolved
- Cross train and assist in other departments as required
