About The Position

As a Production Associate, this role is responsible for the general operations and preparation of orders to be processed by Embroidery Operators. The Production Associate responds to work orders, set up, troubleshoots missing items and performs direct physical activity to complete preparation of work order in a timely manner while meeting the customer's quality specifications

Requirements

Must have the ability to follow instruction and have an eye for precision
Exhibits quick learning, be detailed, accurately driven, personable, team oriented, and punctual with excellence in attendance
Possesses the ability to differentiate and coordinate colors
High School Diploma
Physical requirements include standing for long periods of time (8 hours minimally), repetitive movement of the body, lifting of no less than 5-35 lbs. on a regular basis and must be able to tolerate working in a non-climate-controlled environment (including seasonal exposure to heat and humidity).
Must be able to push/pull 15-35lbs frequently.

Responsibilities

Responsible for receiving the work orders, observing specifications and preparing and staging garments for Embroidery Operators.
Accurately counts and documents proper sizes and colors of garments are all present before staging items for Embroidery Operators.
Responsible for reporting all mechanical issues to their supervisor immediately.
Ensures work area is cleaned during their shift and before shift ends, including sweeping, leaving workstation organized, and emptying trash.
