Production Associate - All Shifts
About The Position
WeatherTech Direct is hiring Production Associates to operate thermoforming and/or injection molding machines, trim parts, and package products according to company quality standards. Associates may operate or assist with production machinery, use basic hand and cutting tools, assemble and label products, and handle raw materials and finished goods. They also complete required paperwork, uphold quality and safety standards, communicate and work collaboratively, and help train team members on production functions. The role offers a starting base rate of $19.00 per hour depending on experience, with shift differentials of $1.00 per hour for second shift and $1.50 per hour for third shift. Requirements
- At least 1 year of prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
- A high degree of attention to help prevent accidents and injuries.
- Ability to stand for the duration of the assigned shift.
- Team-player attitude and strong work ethic.
- Dependability and an excellent attendance record.
- Ability to read and understand verbal and written work orders and instructions in English.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Operate or assist with operating machinery and equipment used in the production process.
- Use basic hand and cutting tools, including hand-trimming parts.
- Complete all required paperwork.
- Lift and transfer raw material, finished product, and packed materials from conveyors and tables.
- Assemble parts, apply product labels, and package products.
- Ensure that all quality standards are met.
- Train new and existing team members on production-area functions, sharing knowledge and best practices to support efficiency and productivity.
- Comply with safety guidelines and company procedures.
- Communicate clearly and work as part of a team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
