Production Associate - First Shift

About The Position

This role involves picking up dry linen and feeding items into various dry fold machines, adhering to standard operating procedures for each machine. The associate will inspect each piece of linen for stains, tears, holes, and wear, ensuring quality and production standards are met. A $500 sign-on bonus is offered.

Requirements

• Be able to stand on feet up to 10 hours a day.
• Be able to push/pull linen carts up to 800 lbs (on wheels).
• Sufficient manual dexterity to handle linen efficiently.
• Ability to work in high temperature environment.
• Be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Be able to operate computer/printer.
• Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending, twisting, pulling, and reaching overhead.

Responsibilities

• Follow standard operating procedures for each machine.

• Be on time.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area in line with company policies.
• Be able to work past the schedule, as production issues may arise.
• Perform any other duties as supervisor/manager sees fit.
• Cross-train in other positions per production needs.
