About The Position

Operate and monitor production processes used to manufacture assemblies or finished products that meet specifications. The role supports ongoing production and requires adherence to work instructions, operational requirements, and production documentation procedures. The position may work a 2/2/3 schedule on days or nights, as indicated in the job title.

Requirements

Knowledge acquired through at least a two-year apprenticeship, such as machine and equipment operator training, or equivalent; alternatively, knowledge gained through many years of professional experience or a multi-week induction period.
Solid, structured way of working.

Responsibilities

Start up production during order changes, ensuring line clearance and checking test stations with validation or challenge parts.
Load production equipment with individual parts and change bins and trays according to specifications.
Take sample lots and visually inspect parts according to specifications.
Enter equipment status at production terminals according to specifications.
Independently perform equipment changeover procedures when switching variants, following instructions and operational requirements.
Complete production documentation, including lot changes, release approvals, quantities in the MES, validations, and revisions.
Clean the work area, including machines, handling equipment, other equipment, and surrounding areas.
Handle defective parts on machines according to supervisors’ instructions.
Contribute to continuous improvement in the production process.
Support ongoing production according to specifications and instructions.
