About The Position

As a Production Associate, you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that quality products are available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives! This role involves setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing production equipment, including machining, processing, assembly, or packaging. You will be responsible for operating equipment safely and effectively, performing regular maintenance, and ensuring production capacity and quality. The position also includes assisting junior operators, repairing and cleaning equipment, evaluating equipment performance, and operating industrial vehicles to transfer equipment. Following safety procedures and company policies is paramount.

Requirements

• Ability to lift to 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the day.
• Mechanical inclination, ability to use hand tools.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up the production equipment and supplies before executing the job orders.
• Operate equipment safely and effectively for production processing.
• Ensure that equipment is maintained in good and safe working conditions.
• Inspect equipment to identify any replacements, malfunctions, and repairs.
• Perform regular equipment maintenance to ensure production capacity and quality.
• Help junior operators in their assigned responsibilities.
• Repair and clean the equipment when needed.
• Evaluate equipment performance and recommend improvements.
• Operate trucks and other industrial vehicles to transfer the production equipment between warehouse and working area.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation.
