About The Position

This position is responsible for inspecting donations and raw materials for quality to determine marketability, sorting and categorizing materials for store use, salvage, or trash, and preparing items for placement on the retail sales floor. The role also involves producing an appropriate number of textile items daily and adhering to dress code standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect donations and raw material for quality to determine marketability as outlined in the Retail Operations Manual.
• Sort raw material-categorize for store use, salvage, trash.
• Stand and tag donated items according to Goodwill’s rotation system as outlined in the Retail Operations Manual.
• Stand and hang sorted goods for placement on to retail sales floor based on productivity standards outlined in the Retail Operations Manual.
• Produce appropriate number of textile items each day according to Goodwill’s minimum standards as outlined in the Retail Operations Manual.
• Adhere to uniform dress code standards as outlined in the Retail Operations Manual.
