About The Position

As a Production Worker at Aunt Millie's Bakeries, you will perform tasks involved in manufacturing bakery products and help ensure efficient, high-quality production. The role includes preparing dough and baked goods, monitoring production and product quality, packaging finished goods, and maintaining a safe and sanitary production environment. The position is full-time in Plymouth, Michigan, with a current third-shift schedule of three 12-hour days per week. Employees must be available to work any shift and any night of the work week, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

Demonstrated solid and verifiable work history with minimal or no gaps in employment.
Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Punctuality and self-discipline.

Responsibilities

Operate production machinery and equipment, such as mixers, ovens, and packaging machines.
Weigh and measure ingredients according to recipes and production schedules.
Mix, knead, shape, and bake dough to produce bread, rolls, and other baked goods.
Monitor production to ensure product quality and consistency.
Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
Package finished products for distribution, including labeling and sealing packages.
Clean and maintain work areas and equipment to ensure a safe and sanitary production environment.
Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
Communicate with supervisors and team members to coordinate production activities and address issues.
