About The Position

SpecChem, LLC supplies and services the concrete distributor network with quality construction chemicals that provide performance and value to the industry. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented candidate to join our team as Production Associate – Seasonal in our Bensalem, PA facility. This is a temporary position. Hours are Monday- Friday, 6AM-2:30PM. This location produces both powder and liquid cementitious products. Associates will learn how to batch products from a batch sheet, be responsible for packaging and stacking finished materials, maintain cleanliness, ensure quality control and operate forklifts. This role requires adherence to safety protocols and the ability to work efficiently within standard operating procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds frequently
  • Ability to operate a forklift, or commitment to learn
  • Quick learner, team player
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment physical exam.
  • Must be able to pass a respiratory fit test and wear a respirator as required by the position and in accordance with OSHA respiratory protection standards

Responsibilities

  • Package and stack finished manufactured products efficiently and accurately.
  • Lift and stack pails of products.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and productive environment.
  • Operate forklifts to move finished products throughout the facility.
  • Adhere to safety protocols by turning off and locking out equipment when not in use.
  • Transport waste from the assembly line to designated dumpsters.
  • Follow standard operating procedures for all tasks and equipment usage.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure that no damaged products are shipped and that no damaged raw materials are accepted.
  • Prepare finished products for shipping, including shrink wrapping, boxing, and labeling.
  • Stage products for loading and assist in the loading process as needed.
  • Provide support in other areas as required by the production team.
