About The Position

This position is in the US and involves assembling filters by putting various types of media into pre-assembled filter frames, pouring urethane, and securing them together. The role also includes cleaning excess urethane, confirming frame squareness, measuring and maintaining pleat counts, and producing quality filters that meet company specifications in a fast-paced environment. Safety rules and regulations must be followed, and other duties may be assigned by Management.

Requirements

• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Must be able to read and understand written work instructions.
• Must be able to lift to approximately 25-40 pounds as required.
• Must be able to stand at workstation for a long period of time.
• Must be able to use both hands on a continuous basis.
• Move arms up and down and from side to side to clean/assemble filters.
• Walks to transfer frames to the next station.
• Must be able to travel throughout the facility to obtain information needed to perform job functions.

Nice To Haves

• 6 months’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
• License or certificates in any of the above-mentioned trade skills are beneficial

Responsibilities

• Assemble filters – put various types of media into pre-assembled filter frames; pour urethane and secure together by various measures, such as, bolts staples, etc.
• Clean off excess urethane from production filter frame prior to moving to the next stage (where applicable).
• Confirm frame is square based on the filter specifications provided.
• Measure and maintain correct pleat count (where applicable).
• Produce quality filters and meet Company specifications in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow safety rules and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
