About The Position
A.O. Smith is a global leader applying innovative technologies and energy-efficient solutions to products manufactured and marketed worldwide. The company is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of residential and commercial water heating equipment and boilers, as well as a manufacturer of water treatment products for residential and light commercial applications. This production associate position's primary duties are assembling residential water treatment systems. The successful candidate will be able to accurately work from a bill of materials to determine required media and components. The candidate will be trained and work all phases of the assembly line to include tank filling, final assembly, and packaging. Successful candidate will have the skill set to work both accurately and complete tasks in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Good Attitude – Team Player
- Ability to obtain a Fork Lift Certification within 60 days of hire
- High school diploma or equivalent

- Reading Bill of Materials
- Pick Parts from Multiple Locations
- Assemble Components
- Inventory control
- Shop clean up
- Quality control
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
