About The Position

We are a metal stamping facility looking for production team members for our Bumper Bender Line on 1st shift. This role is responsible for meeting established rates, performing tooling and fixture setup, ensuring the quality of parts (dimensional and visual), and following all job setup, run, and safety procedures. The associate will communicate with supervisors and engineers, interpret written specifications, maintain housekeeping in their work cell, and perform other duties as assigned. The position requires the ability to run one's own operation and be responsible for various reports.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Manual dexterity required to handle parts required to meet defined rates
  • Knowledge of control charts, inspection data, quality standards, and labeling procedures
  • Written and oral communication skills
  • Must work as part of a work team.
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic computer/PC knowledge/skills preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Meet established rates.
  • Responsible for all tooling and fixture set up.
  • Responsible for quality of parts, dimensional and visual.
  • Follow all job set up and run procedures.
  • Follow all safety procedures: Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Equipment Safety Analysis (ESA) and Area Safety Analysis (ASA).
  • Communicate with shift supervisor, tooling engineers and quality engineers.
  • Be capable of running your own operation - responsible for all reports: parts completion, time sheets, downtime and scrap report.
  • Interpret written specifications for welding the product.
  • Maintain housekeeping in your work cell.
  • Must be able to maintain and repair tooling when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
