About The Position

We are a metal stamping facility looking for production team members for our Bumper Bender Line on 1st shift. This role is responsible for meeting established rates, setting up tooling and fixtures, and ensuring the quality of parts, both dimensionally and visually. The associate will follow all job setup, run, and safety procedures, including JSA, ESA, and ASA. Communication with shift supervisors, tooling engineers, and quality engineers is essential. The role requires the ability to run one's own operation, including managing parts completion, time sheets, downtime, and scrap reports. Interpreting written specifications for welding the product and maintaining housekeeping in the work cell are also key responsibilities. The position may involve other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Manual dexterity required to handle parts required to meet defined rates.
  • Knowledge of control charts, inspection data, quality standards, and labeling procedures.
  • Written and oral communication skills.
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
  • American Trim does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-18 status).

Responsibilities

  • Meet established rates.
  • Responsible for all tooling and fixture set up.

  • Be capable of running your own operation - responsible for all reports: parts completion, time sheets, downtime and scrap report.
  • Interpret written specifications for welding the product.
  • Maintain housekeeping in your work cell.
  • Maintain and repair tooling when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Work overtime as needed.
  • Work with pressure of meeting schedules, personnel issues, changing priorities.
  • Work with all levels of employees.
  • Perform position requirements while wearing eye, foot and/or other protective devices as required.
