About The Position

Quanex Custom Components, a manufacturer of cabinet doors, is seeking dedicated Production Associates to join our team in Orwell, Ohio. This role involves performing a variety of tasks related to the manufacturing of cabinet doors, which could include sanding, using woodworking machinery, packaging, and many more. Requirements

• High School or equivalent education, required.
• Ability to perform detailed work that requires high levels of concentration.
• Bringing a positive attitude and team-oriented mentality.
• Manual/finger dexterity skills.
• Ability to perform repetitive work.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Able to pass background and drug screening process.

Nice To Haves

• 6 months+ of manufacturing experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tasks related to the manufacturing of cabinet doors, which could include sanding, using woodworking machinery, packaging, and many more.
• Follows all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines.
• Monitor product to ensure that quality standards are being met.
• Receive direction from and notify the supervisor/team lead when more work is needed.
• Maintain the work area in a neat and orderly condition in compliance with 5S standards.
• Promote teamwork by cooperating and supporting co-workers.
• Assist in other work areas when the workload permits or requires.
