About The Position

As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for general production tasks including loading and unloading parts, assembly, and other duties as assigned. You will need to understand and follow work instructions and control plans, operate machinery, perform quality checks, and maintain an organized workspace. Safety is paramount, and you will be expected to understand required PPE, lock-out procedures, and emergency stops. The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle glass safely, and demonstrate excellent attendance and a positive attitude.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing preferred.
Ability to work a 12-hour shift on our 3-2-2-3 schedule and required overtime.
Ability to learn and follow procedures while working safely in a manufacturing environment.
Able to lift 45-50 lbs regularly and/or occasionally able to walk 5-10 feet while carrying a 45-50 lb. windshield.
Able to raise objects from a lower to higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position.
Assemble components on glass, involving picking, pinching and fingering objects.
Repetitive movements of wrists, hands and/or fingers
Repetitive twisting and bending of upper & lower body.
Work in extreme heat and humidity.
Regular and predictable attendance required.
Cooperate within teams to carry out tasks and responsibilities.
Overtime may be required as workload or projects dictate, including weekends and holidays.
Able to stand on concrete for extended periods of time.
Some type of computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

General Production responsibilities including loading and unloading parts, assembly and additional duties as assigned.
Understand and follow work instructions and control plans
Operate machines along with other key tasks such as changeovers
Do quality checks and input data into Quality system to keep the process nominal and input GMaPS data when required
Maintain an organized clean work environment. 5S
Perform other departmental job duties when directed by supervision
Understands required PPE, location and purpose of all lock outs and E-stops
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment keeping the process running
Handle all types of glass safely
