About The Position

Atlas Molded Products is seeking Production Associates at its Murray, Utah facility. The role supports manufacturing operations by inspecting, packaging, and preparing parts and materials according to production specifications and instructions. Associates follow safety requirements and departmental procedures, operate assigned equipment, and maintain an orderly work area. The position requires light to moderate physical effort throughout the shift, including tolerance of temperature changes, and the ability to safely operate machinery and handle loads up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

Must be able to use simple math, count, and use basic handheld measuring tools.
Must be able to push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to safely operate assigned machinery.
Must tolerate temperature changes for the entire shift.
Physical effort includes sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, climbing steps or ladders, grasping, fine and coarse manipulation, and reaching forward and above head level.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Responsibilities

Report to the Manager at the start of the shift for daily direction.
Follow manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operating procedures, safety requirements, and departmental procedures.
Inspect and package parts according to specification pages and record required information on in-process sheets.
Bundle, wrap, stack, pack, assemble, and/or label materials according to production instructions.
Operate side-wrappers and pallet jacks.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Operate Pre-breakers and re-grinding equipment to recycle EPS.
Complete general safety training and follow safety requirements.
