About The Position

Ascend Staffing is hiring a Production Associate in Tualatin, Oregon, paying $21 per hour. If you’re dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable performing organized, seated production work in a steady-paced environment, this could be an excellent opportunity to put your accuracy and reliability to work. As a Production Associate, you will create accurate shipping labels and process a wide variety of packages while working primarily at a desk. This role requires strong attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to maintain accuracy while handling a high volume of packages throughout the shift. Because this position supports a time-sensitive production operation, exceptional attendance, punctuality, and schedule reliability are expected. Successful associates are dependable, organized, comfortable sitting for extended periods, and able to maintain quality standards throughout the workday.

Requirements

Ability to create accurate shipping labels for packages
Comfortable handling many different packages throughout the shift
Ability to perform desk-based work while seated
Strong attention to detail similar to quality control work
Ability to work the assigned schedule and provide coverage as needed
Exceptional attendance, punctuality, and dependability are expected for this role
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Must successfully complete required pre-employment screening, which includes a background check, including a criminal background check, and a drug test that includes screening for THC, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws

Responsibilities

Create and verify accurate shipping labels for a wide variety of packages
Handle and process many different packages throughout the shift
Maintain a high level of accuracy while working through significant package volume
Perform primarily desk-based duties while seated for extended periods
Review labels and package information carefully to help prevent errors
Follow established production, shipping, and quality procedures
Keep work organized while maintaining a steady and consistent pace
Demonstrate exceptional attendance, punctuality, and reliability to support daily production requirements
