Production Associate (Paint) - 1st, 2nd & 3rd Shifts
About The Position
This position supports Caterpillar's paint line and does not require previous paint experience. The Production Associate operates powder coat, paint, or other equipment to apply industrial powder coat or paint to metals or products according to the specified work order. The role may include work as a shot blast operator, powder painter, caulker, blow-off operator, loader/unloader, masker/demasker, or pre-inspector. Required safety procedures must be followed at all times, and overtime may be required as needed to support business needs. The position is offered on first, second, and third shifts. First shift is 6:00 AM–2:00 PM at $18.00 per hour. Second shift is 2:00 PM–10:00 PM at $19.44 per hour, including an 8% night shift premium. Third shift is 10:00 PM–6:00 AM at $19.44 per hour, including an 8% night shift premium. The listed summary pay range is $18.00–$22.40. Compensation may vary based on individualized factors.
Requirements
- Prior work experience.
- Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
- Ability to perform repetitive operations.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Successful completion of an online assessment, interview, background check, drug screen, and medical review.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in shot blast operations.
- Experience in fabrication powder coat painting.
- Experience in top coat, prime coat, and electrostatic paint.
- Ability to read blueprints or engineering drawings.
