Role Summary As a Production Associate - Level 1, you’ll support steady, safe production of molded rubber parts and accurate order fulfillment for customers. This role exists to keep presses running efficiently, maintain quality standards, and ensure production data is recorded correctly.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED
• 1–3 months related experience or equivalent
• Read procedures/safety rules
• Complete routine production forms
• Basic math (fractions/decimals/percentages) and simple measurement
• Use basic hand tools
• Lift 50 lbs frequently (up to 100 lbs occasionally)

Responsibilities

• Following job sheets to stage molds/materials
• Loading rubber into mold cavities
• Changing molds in presses
• Applying pressure with an electric hydraulic pump
• Removing cured parts
• Completing documented QC checks
• Scanning in/out of jobs in the Shop Floor Data System
• Keeping your area clean
• Reporting process or equipment irregularities
• Assisting with trials or cross-training as assigned
• Reviewing the production plan
• Verifying the job sheet and current part drawing
• Confirming you have the right PPE and materials staged
• Keeping several presses moving by staying ahead of cycle timing
• Tracking scans/counts as work is completed
• Documenting scheduled quality checks
• Escalating issues with material, tooling, or equipment promptly
• Returning unused material
• Organizing the station
• Leaving a clean, ready-to-run area for the next day
