Production Associate - Level 1

Steele Rubber ProductsDenver, NC
Onsite

About The Position

As a Production Associate - Level 1, you’ll support steady, safe production of molded rubber parts and accurate order fulfillment for customers. This role exists to keep presses running efficiently, maintain quality standards, and ensure production data is recorded correctly. Your day starts by reviewing the production plan, verifying the job sheet and current part drawing, and confirming you have the right PPE and materials staged. Throughout the shift, you’ll keep several presses moving by staying ahead of cycle timing, tracking scans/counts as work is completed, and documenting scheduled quality checks. When something looks off—material, tooling, or equipment—you’ll escalate it promptly so production stays on track. Work assignments may rotate based on demand. You’ll wrap up by returning unused material, organizing the station, and leaving a clean, ready-to-run area for the next day.
