About The Position

Collins Aerospace is looking for a Production Associate III in the Paint Department to join our manufacturing team in Jamestown, ND. This position will perform paint and surface prep operations for painting. After the parts have been painted the individual will un-rack the parts and deliver them to the internal customer.

Requirements

HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

Basic computer skills
Able to operate a curing oven and chart recorders.
Ability to interpret blueprints.

Responsibilities

Responsible for prepping, priming of detail parts to current spec requirements along with the capability of Top-coat Application
Follow standard operating procedures and specifications
Wash, wipe and sand parts when necessary
Mask and prep parts for paint as required
Cure parts after topcoat application
Operate Chart recorders
Quality Testing
Form auditing
