About The Position

This role is responsible for the production and quality of assigned advanced operations within the composites department. The Production Associate II will also train and support new production associates, ensuring adherence to established methods and quality standards. This position involves interpreting blueprints, operating production equipment, and maintaining accurate production records.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED.
• 3+ years of comparable experience.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Proficiency with shop math.
• Working knowledge of measuring equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints as required.
• Basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of Lean principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform production operations according to established methods, including advanced operations like drilling or countersinking.
• Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions to perform production tasks.
• Operate production equipment in various areas of the shop floor.
• Ensure part finish quality meets requirements.
• Complete production-related paperwork and signoffs, documenting part counts in the ERP system.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) and Lean-related activities.
• Provide guidance to junior team members.
• Cross-train and act as a backup in other production areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area.
