Under general supervision, this role assembles components that may include sub-assemblies, manual components, electrical components, and all other related components to contribute to the completion of a variety of products. The associate will prepare and process electrical and mechanical components for assigned product lines, working from process work instructions and test procedures. This role involves monitoring and recording related documentation to meet quality requirements, following production build rates and schedules, and meeting required cycle times. The associate will interface with manufacturing systems using computers or other electronic devices, assemble cartons and containers, and prepare products for shipment in accordance with domestic, international, and/or customer specifications. Responsibilities include set-ups, work preparation, clean-up, and quality assurance of own work and work area. A commitment to quality is essential, striving for reliability and quality in products, continuously searching for ways to enhance performance, and meeting all training and documentation criteria. Meeting work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends, is also a key aspect of this role.
