As an Assembler I, you will prepare, process, clean, install, assemble, rework, verify, test, and/or inspect electrical and mechanical components, hardware, subassemblies, and assemblies on single or multiple product lines. You will prepare and process electrical and mechanical components for assigned product lines, working from process work instructions and test procedures to complete tasks. This role involves monitoring and recording related documentation to meet quality requirements, following production build rates and schedules, and meeting required cycle times. You will interface with manufacturing systems using computers or other electronic devices as required, and assemble cartons and containers, preparing products for shipment in accordance with domestic, international, and/or customer specifications. The position also includes responsibility for set-ups, work preparation, clean-up, and quality assurance of your own work and work area. A commitment to quality is essential, striving for reliability and quality in products, continuously searching for ways to enhance performance, and meeting all training and documentation criteria. You will also be expected to meet work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends.
