About The Position

This position is responsible for performing basic machine setup and operation, ensuring output matches job instructions and samples. The role involves validating materials, performing quality assessments, and adhering to standard operating procedures for various production tasks. Additionally, the associate will be responsible for reconciling job output, stacking and staging finished products, performing basic machine maintenance, and managing inventory. The role also requires alerting management to downtime opportunities and supporting all steps in the production process.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Possess a valid State issued Driver’s License or Identification Card in the applicable state of employment at all times
  • Demonstrates a can-do team attitude with the ability to take direction and assist others in a professional manner
  • Ability to read, learn, apply and retain basic operational procedures for the running of equipment.
  • Strong organizational skills and be detail oriented; ability to multi-task
  • Able to count, balance counts, and escalate issues beyond basic troubleshooting skills.
  • Basic Data Entry skills are required
  • Basic computer/touch screen experience
  • Able to use applications on a desktop or mobile device that requires selecting/clicking/scrolling activity.
  • Multi-limb and eye-hand coordination
  • Able to stand, bend, reach, stoop and lift boxes up to 35 lbs.
  • Able to lift and move boxes and materials 50% of work day
  • Able to walk and stand for a full work day
  • Able to work in a fast pace environment

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic machine set up and operation, including camera, profiles, and settings based on instructions.
  • Review job instructions and validate output matches instructions and samples.
  • Accurately pull and/or validate materials for the job run based on instructions.
  • Make mailing standard quality assessments and escalate issues, errors, and machine anomalies.
  • Consistently follow standard operating procedures for mail pulls, tray checks, alignment, shift, and other issues.
  • Reconcile and balance job output for accuracy and quality.
  • Accurately stack, tray, or palletize finished output and stage finished product as directed.
  • Perform machine clean-up/basic maintenance procedures as directed.
  • Return inventory accurately and prepare a clean desk space for each job run.
  • Alert management to downtime opportunities and actively support all steps in the production process.
  • Perform other department or subdivision duties as assigned.
