About The Position

Quanex is looking for Production Associates to join our 1st Shift team in Greenville, PA. This role involves following all safety procedures, maintaining a clean work area, promoting teamwork, and identifying safety issues. The associate will also assist in other work areas as needed.

Requirements

• Manual/finger dexterity skills.
• Ability to perform repetitive work.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Positive attitude and a strong desire to learn
• Able to pass background and drug screening process.

Responsibilities

• Follows all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines.
• Attends work on time and for scheduled hours each day.
• Receives direction from and notifies the supervisor/team lead when more work is needed.
• Maintains the work area in a near and orderly condition in compliance with 5S standards.
• Promotes teamwork by cooperating and supporting co-workers.
• Identifies any existing or potential safety issues.
• Ability to contribute effectively in a team environment
• Assists in other work areas when the workload permits or requires.
