About The Position

Goodwill Southern California is hiring an E-Commerce Production Associate to join their entrepreneurial team. This role is part of a growing e-commerce team focused on increasing direct-to-consumer sales, enhancing the web shopping experience, and updating web content for effective merchandising. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to all aspects of e-commerce. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, comfortable with data entry and Excel, possess a passion for Goodwill’s mission, have excellent communication skills, and a strong attention to detail.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory and listing systems.
• Ability to follow processes, meet production goals, and maintain accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and willingness to learn.
• Shift flexibility and overtime when needed.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Background and drug screen required.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of experience in retail, warehouse, production, or a related environment preferred.
• Experience handling merchandise, sorting, or working with inventory is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, label, and scan incoming merchandise and donations.
• Load and unload trucks and support material handling as needed.
• Inspect merchandise to assess quality and sale readiness.
• Use systems (e.g., NOS) to complete product check-in and quality control.
• Research items to determine product details, value, and appropriate titles.
• Operate testing tools or equipment as needed (e.g., for jewelry or specialty items).
• Photograph merchandise and create accurate product descriptions.
• List items for sale in accordance with established standards.
• Meet or exceed daily processing and production goals.
• Maintain accurate production logs and records.
• Follow all safety guidelines and product flow processes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
