Production Associate - HVAC
About The Position
Dantherm Cooling is the leading authority in industrial cooling and climate control systems for mission critical market segments and digital infrastructure. With over 300,000 climate control units sold, our wide range of innovative and proprietary product designs are designed to perform in a wide range of applications and climates. We are seeking a trained HVAC technician to join our team and manufacture HVAC systems for industrial applications. The ideal candidate understands the basics of HVAC systems, can perform basic HVAC installation and troubleshooting, and is experienced in brazing, wiring, vacuuming, charging, and testing heating and cooling units.
Requirements
- 1-2 years knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical principles.
- Experienced in HVAC installation, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance.
- Problem-solving skills to handle equipment issues during assembly.
Nice To Haves
- NATE or EPA Section 608 certification
Responsibilities
- Assemble PrecisionAir, HexFlow, and CoolCore units.
- Braze coils and compressors into units, install copper and water lines, emplace kubus assembly and seal.
- Install electrical boards and fans based upon unit specific wiring schematic.
- Vacuum and charge units, program and function test control board, test for leaks and electrical parameters, document all findings for quality control purposes.
