About The Position

Grand Canyon University is seeking a Production Associate / Graphic Installer. This role oversees production planning, quality control, and scheduling to fulfill customer orders. The position involves ensuring materials are handled, stored, and delivered properly to prevent damage, documenting procedures, and contributing to team improvements. The associate will also assist with print graphic installation and adhere to all safety procedures. Regular on-time attendance is required, along with performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • High School Degree; some college coursework.
  • Previous related work experience in retail or manufacturing environment where scheduling and quality control were job-related duties.
  • Must be able to stand for extended hours at a time, sometimes entire work shift.
  • Must be able to lift unassisted 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment background check.
  • Must be able to work flexible schedule, sometimes evenings and weekends.
  • Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Critical eye for identifying waste with a strong focus on quality control.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and software such as CRM software, and MS Office software.
  • Strong commitment to quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the production planning for all phases of production needed to fulfill customer orders.
  • Responsible for quality control of all work orders to completion, including receipt of raw materials, quality control of finished production, and shipping to customer.
  • Establishes maintenance schedule in collaboration with operators and adheres to maintenance schedule, building in downtime during production scheduling.
  • Establishes methods and means for handling, storage, packaging, and delivery of materials/products to prevent damage and deterioration.
  • Documents and updates production floor procedures and contributes to team meetings in updating and recommending improvements to production procedures.
  • Ensures through efficient and accurate production scheduling that all customer orders meet quality standards and on-time delivery.
  • Assist with print graphic installation.
  • Adheres to all safety procedures while on production floor.
  • Must be able to have regular on time attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
