About The Position
Pall Corporation, one of Danaher’s operating companies, is a global leader in high-tech filtration, separation, and purification. The Production Associate is responsible for manufacturing, testing, and packing products based on work instructions, and for providing accurate paperwork and record keeping. This position requires the ability to use measuring and test equipment, and to follow all company rules, policies, and OSHA/EPA regulations. The role is part of the Media department located in Deland, Florida and is an on-site position.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Experience in like work centers and accuracy using both calipers and micrometers.
- Good mechanical skills and troubleshooting ability, and adherence to standard work practices.
- Ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for a minimum of 10 hours per day.
- Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lbs.
- Ability to ascend/descend stairs and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
- Working with steel microfibers.
Responsibilities
- Complete all job duties of Inkjet-related production, including continuous roll operations, strip slitting and cleaning.
- Become proficient in Quality Inspection, material handling/flow, data gathering and all applicable procedures/shop orders.
- Prepare and maintain records as required.
- Assist other team members as instructed by the Team Leader or Supervisor.
- Complete other duties as required by management.
