About The Position

The Production Associate – Cable Line Operator is responsible for operating cable fabrication equipment to manufacture post-tension cable assemblies according to production specifications and customer requirements. This role supports manufacturing operations by operating production machinery, handling materials, assembling components, and ensuring finished products meet quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.

Requirements

  • Experience with material handling equipment such as forklifts
  • Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
  • Frequent lifting, bending, reaching, and repetitive physical movements
  • Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 75 pounds
  • Must adhere to all safety procedures and PPE requirements at all times

Nice To Haves

  • Welding, cutting, fabrication, or maintenance experience is a plus
  • Bilingual communication skills are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Operate cable fabrication and production equipment according to work orders, production schedules, and specifications
  • Monitor equipment performance and ensure products are manufactured accurately and efficiently
  • Ensure proper alignment, positioning, and preparation of materials throughout the production process
  • Assist with machine setup, adjustments, and routine operational checks
  • Report equipment malfunctions or operational concerns promptly
  • Assemble, bundle, and prepare finished products according to production requirements
  • Install and secure production components and accessories as required
  • Carry, stack, organize, and stage finished products for storage or shipment
  • Count, organize, and prepare materials and hardware needed for production orders
  • Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely when authorized
  • Inspect products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with specifications
  • Verify measurements, counts, and assembly requirements
  • Identify and report quality concerns, damaged materials, or production discrepancies
  • Support continuous quality improvement efforts
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements
  • Participate in safety meetings and support a safety-first culture
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of materials, tools, and equipment
  • Work closely with supervisors, leads, and production team members to meet production goals
  • Support efficient workflow and operational productivity
  • Participate in training and skill development activities
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
