Production Assistant (24 Month Fixed Term Contract)
About The Position
The Production Assistant is a vital, shift-based role central to the seamless execution of content recorded at Peloton Studios New York (PSNY). You will provide essential support for all modalities and instructors, ensuring high production standards for live, recorded, and off-platform content. This position requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced broadcast environment and may occasionally involve travel to support off-site event productions. This opportunity involves a 24-month fixed term contract, with no guarantee of continuing employment beyond the 24-month term, and requires flexibility in scheduling to meet the production schedule, including weekends, holidays, late nights and early mornings.
Requirements
- Desire to work in a daily, live broadcast environment and to gain experience working with on-air talent, producers, and production crews in a creative environment.
- Ability to operate and problem solve in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high production standards.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Able to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, nights and weekends.
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency in German or Spanish is beneficial but not required.
- Passion for fitness, storytelling, and content innovation.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary conduit between the Control Room and the studio floor.
- Provide direct support to instructors and external talent involved in all class content production.
- Assist in the planning and preparation of class recordings by reviewing class plans and playlist submissions.
- Act as Stage Manager in the studio, ensuring the class schedule is adhered to and instructors are mic'd and prepared prior to filming.
- Maintain precise production logs and reporting to ensure accurate documentation for all recorded content.
- Oversee all maintenance and hospitality requirements within the Green Room space.
- Execute various administrative duties and errands to provide critical operational support as required.
