About The Position
Fox News Media is seeking a dynamic and hardworking Production Assistant to join the Fox Nation live team. This group is responsible for the growing demand for executing live streaming of breaking news and events on our platform. We're looking for someone who loves current events, politics, and breaking news and knows the Fox News brand. You are highly organized and have great time management skills. You are a self-starter with a "can-do" attitude and enjoy working and collaborating with a team. The Production Assistant will also assist with other productions such as town hall and live event programming and specials. The candidate should be able to determine, plan, and manage their day-to-day activities as well as long-term priorities regarding all aspects of the production.
Requirements

- Strong knowledge of current events

Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience
- Experience with live streaming/TV programming is a plus!
Responsibilities
- Direct and operate live streams and shows in an automated control room
- Write creative and editorially interesting descriptions and work with graphics to create toolkits for the app
- Coordinate with other departments throughout Fox such as legal, finance, graphics, marketing, field production, and media relations
