Our Organization Prime Health Ltd. is a fastest growing NNHP (Natural and Non-prescription Health Product) manufacturing company based in Maple Ridge, BC having presence in North America, Asia, Middle East, and South American countries. We are passionate in delivering result and customer satisfaction. To boost our growth, we are looking for Production Assistant who can contribute to the following activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in science background, or equivalent with pharmaceutical/nutraceutical industry experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years in pharmaceutical / nutraceutical or similar type manufacturing industry.
  • Strong mathematics and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and personnel management skills
  • Strong attention to details.
  • Strong understanding of GMP (good manufacturing process), SOP (standard operating procedures), Quality Standards, and Health & Safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs.

Responsibilities

  • Work and assist with the Production Manager in production planning and determine team resource requirements for weekly production and packaging activities to meet product delivery timelines.
  • To ensure timely start of daily production activities to achieve the daily production targets within deadlines.
  • To ensure on time and online documentation i.e. work orders, logbooks and annexures, timely receiving of logbooks, annexures and other required documents from QA.
  • To ensure reviewing the completed work orders, logbooks (daily basis) and annexures (daily basis and month end) before submission to QC and QA respectively.
  • To ensure following up and timely receiving of work orders from planning/ QA and following up for timely release from QC.
  • To ensure complete filling of daily output format by production workers in each shift w.r.t. planned vs actual output, details of breakdown, product problems and trouble shooting.
  • To ensure proactive handover of work orders to WH to receive the required materials in timely manner and to ensure planning (for next day) before end of day and other preliminary works i.e. work orders and materials receiving and issuance.
  • Responsible for maintaining the production floor auditable and complying as per cGMP.
  • Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and employee engagement.
  • Co-ordinate with the warehouse department for Raw material and packaging material picking, staging and returns.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Co-ordinate with sales, Warehouse, QC, and production department for availability and release of Raw & Packing Materials.
  • Ensure cGMP compliance in production area and report any deviations to the Production Manager immediately.
  • Assist the Quality team with implementation of new SOP's and provide training to the production.
  • Impart proper training to the subordinates to achieve the required product quality and productivity.
  • Co-ordinate with the maintenance manager to accommodate routine and annual maintenance activities to minimize equipment breakdowns.
  • Manage and report production data to support routine dashboards and more special reports as required.
  • Continuously improving the efficiency of processes, equipment, material flow and the people in the department to help achieve department goals.
  • Any other responsibility or projects assigned by department head based on business demands.
