LopesVision - Production Assistant Student Worker (FWS/NFWS)
About The Position
The purpose of this position is to assist the Digital Systems Director with production and presentation of in-arena video and screen show for basketball games and other Arena events. Requirements
- Strong computer and organizational skills.
- Ability to work with a variety of people.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work a variety of hours – including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Positive and personable attitude.
- Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program or Master’s program.
- Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
- Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.
Responsibilities
- Assist Director with production of live events.
- Set up cameras and related equipment for athletic and other events.
- Duties during events can vary.
- Camera operation
- Assisting camera operators
- Running equipment and Windows based computers used for displaying graphics/videos on the digital boards.
- Communicate with audio and event operations during events.
- Assist with strike and clean-up of production equipment after conclusion of events.
