This is a great opportunity to come in as a Production Assistant (Seam Ripper)in a fast-growing, luxury apparel company during our busy holiday season. We are a fast-growing luxury sleepwear company with a warehouse located in Richmond, VA.
Requirements
- Must have previous experience working in high-capacity production roles.
- Effective written and verbal communication and the ability to communicate regularly and professionally with team members.
- Ability to work with multiple types of fabrics and patterns.
- Must be detail oriented and meticulous.
- Must be dependable and have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to work unsupervised.
Responsibilities
- Remove pockets from garments of differing fabric types while preserving the quality of the product.
- Exceptional quality control of product before and during production.
- Able to achieve reasonable production output based on daily mix of production (of different garment styles).
- Balance multiple projects without sacrificing efficiency.
- Exceptional attention to detail while using seam rippers, rulers, pins, and other sewing equipment.
