About The Position

Program participants spend 9 months in Women’s Bean Project’s transitional job-readiness training program. During this time, you will work as a Production Assistant in our dry-food manufacturing operation, gaining hands-on experience, building strong transferable skills, and developing the professional behaviors expected in today’s entry-level workplaces. In addition to on-the-job training, you will attend classes focused on computer skills, financial literacy, GED preparation, career coaching, resume writing, mock interviews, and coping skills. You will also meet weekly with a WBP case manager to set goals, address challenges outside of work, and stay supported throughout your journey. Our program is designed for women who are ready to make a change, focus on their future, and grow with the support of a dedicated team. WBP is a space for growth, accountability, and real progress.
