About The Position

The Production Assembly employee sets up and operates assembly equipment, rotates among work cells as instructed, packs finished products for shipment, maintains a safe and clean work area, participates in cell improvements, and performs duties in accordance with established quality standards. The position is scheduled for C Shift, from 10:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Requirements

• Proficient English reading and writing skills, including the ability to read and comprehend MSDS sheets and standard work instructions.
• Manual dexterity and mechanical proficiency.
• Ability to use various hand and power tools and equipment and read measuring devices.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience in an assembly or lean manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate assembly equipment, including small hydraulic presses, staking equipment, small drill presses, welding machines, air drivers, spin riveters, and winders.
• Rotate in other work cells as instructed by the Supervisor or Cell Leader.
• Pack finished product for shipment.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Participate in making and implementing cell improvements.
• Perform duties in accordance with established quality standards.
