Requirements

High school diploma/GED
1+ year of experience in a high volume, high complexity, manufacturing environment
The ability to stand for extended periods of time along with routine lifting of items that typically weigh up to 50 pounds.
Must have the ability to bend, stoop, stand, and squat

SAP experience
Physically capable of working in a fast-paced, stop-and-go manufacturing environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task effectively
Alert, dependable, and safety-focused
Previous experience in manufacturing material handling or similar industrial environments
Knowledge of parts and materials required for production operations
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong organizational skills and ability to make quick decisions in support of a process-oriented operation

Responsibilities

Ability to assemble components using various hand and power tools according to specifications
Ability to read blueprints and/or standard work instructions
Performs a variety of functions following prescribed procedures in product assembly and testing
Assemble components as required on time and according to quality specifications
Ability to identify improvement areas and effectively communicate ways to implement change
Maintain the cleanliness of workstation and assist with entire department housekeeping
High personal standards with regards to productivity, quality, and safety
Overtime and weekend hours may be assigned
Willingness to learn and operate in multiple stations within the department
Mandatory overtime and weekend hours are frequent and may be assigned as needed
Good communication skills relative to supervisor and other related departments
Exceptional customer service skills and a great teamwork are required
