About The Position

Taylor Corporation is hiring a Production Assembly and Support team member at its North Mankato, Minnesota facility. The role performs hands-on production, assembly, packing, and material-handling tasks to complete printed-material orders according to job specifications. Work may involve standing or sitting, operating machinery and foot controls, and moving products and materials throughout the facility. Team members may be assigned across departments and are expected to follow safety procedures and work constructively with colleagues and supervisors.

Requirements

Be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
Read, interpret, and understand general written instructions, including work orders, parts orders, safety regulations, and operating procedures.
Speak and communicate effectively with fellow employees.
Perform basic mathematical functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Use common-sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagram-form instructions.
Communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand.
Regularly move up to 25+ pounds by lifting, pushing, pulling, and/or carrying.

Responsibilities

Perform hand operations such as applying labels, cutting and wrapping products, using tape dispensers, and operating foot controls.
Pack products in boxes, seal boxes appropriately for shipping, and inspect products for quality defects.
Stack, pack, and transport printed materials at various stages of completion on pallets as materials accumulate on equipment delivery tables.
Read and follow job instructions to produce orders according to specifications.
Maintain attendance according to facility guidelines and work constructively with co-workers, supervisors, and vendors.
Float across departments and assist where needed.
Follow safety rules, procedures, and standards.
