About The Position

As a Production Assembler, you will assemble fabricated parts, components or units at floor stations. You will prepare parts for testing, test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. You will perform complex machine set up and identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repair as necessary. Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to precisely measure.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to be on your feet for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

• 1-2 years of job-related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble fabricated parts, components or units at floor stations.
• Prepare parts for testing, test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
• Perform complex machine set up.
• Identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repair as necessary.
• Propose measures to increase productivity and efficiency.
• Perform simple screening, bagging, boxing, or cutting operations.
• Inspect and test work for quality.
• Perform and log scheduled preventative maintenance of production equipment.
• Determine sequence of operations, materials required, and procedures needed.
• Stage job materials for production according to procedure.
